FlareDrops are coming to an end in a few days and, as promised, we’ll remain committed to providing our community the best opportunities possible to make the most of their FLR tokens. Keeping up with that spirit, we’re inaugurating Yield Update, a monthly feature that highlights many of the opportunities for the holders of our liquid staking tokens across the networks we operate in.

In this post, we focus on the premier staking and liquidity pool opportunities for sFLR. While you can also utilize sFLR for perpetuals or arbitrage, these are active trading strategies rather than consistent yield sources, so they fall outside the scope of this guide.

All values presented were gathered on January 21st 2026.

SparkDEX

Currently in their 3.1 version, SparkDEX pools are some of the most popular destinations for sFLR users due to the high returns they’ve historically yielded. If you don’t know the first thing about liquidity pools, we strongly advise you to take a look at our guide. While token pair pools typically require multiple assets, as covered in our guide, SparkDEX also offers single-sided deposit pools. These follow the same fundamental principles but allow you to participate using only sFLR. Below, we’ve highlighted the best opportunities for both dual and single-asset deposits featuring sFLR on SparkDEX:

Single deposits:

There are 2 single deposit vaults on SparkDEX accepting sFLR:

  • sFLR/wFLR: 23.47% APR (9.91% paid in rFLR + 8.67% from the FlareDrop + 4% from delegation rewards + 0.87% from fees)

  • sFLR/flrETH: 10.82% APR, entirely from fees.

Dual deposits:

As for dual deposits (where you have to provide sFLR plus another token), you can currently find on SparkDEX:

  • sFLR + wFLR: ranging from 10.25% APR to 22.91% APR, depending on the fee tier you select. Keep in mind that the highest tier is boosted with a large part of the rewards paid in rFLR.

  • sFLR + USDC.e: 9.29% APR on the 1% fee tier.

  • sFLR + FXRP: 30.78% APR on the 0.3% fee tier.

  • sFLR + stXRP: 27.62% APR on the 0.3 fee tier, 19.71% APR on the 1% fee tier.

  • sFLR + flrETH: 9.49% APR on the 0.05% fee tier.

  • sFLR + JOULE: 66.38% APR on the 0.3% fee tier (boosted by rFLR rewards).

Spectra

Recently deployed on Flare, Spectra offers sFLR users 3 different options for their liquid staking tokens, all of which mature on May 17:

If you’re looking for a breakdown of all these concepts with practical examples, check out our primer on Spectra.

Fixed Rates on Spectra are designed for users who prefer clarity around future redemption amounts.

Kinetic

Kinetic doesn’t offer the most attractive APY nowadays, but it’s still the easiest protocol to use if you want to simply park your sFLR and not think about it. At the moment, you can get a 0.47% APY when supplying to Kinetic, 0.40% of which is paid in rFLR.

Supplying sFLR to Kinetic is very simple. Nevertheless, we advise you to follow our guide if it’s your first time doing it.

Enosys

Enosys currently offers a 0.05% fee sFLR-wFLR liquidity pool with a 7-day APR of 29.56% with incentives paid in rFLR.

Before jumping into any of these, we highly recommend you to do your research, starting by checking the multiple guides scattered throughout the article covering the fundamentals of the mechanisms used by the protocols we covered. We’ll return next month with a fresh update on these and more yield opportunities for your sFLR. Until then, don't forget to follow us on X or join our Discord and Telegram communities to stay updated on all things Sceptre.
