Partisia is coming to Sceptre

We're excited to announce that Sceptre will soon extend its liquid staking services to a new blockchain: Partisia.

Launched in May 2022, Partisia is a Layer 1 blockchain that utilizes advanced Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to prioritize data privacy. This innovative approach enables unlimited scalability, allowing for high transaction volumes without compromising performance. Partisia also fosters cross-chain interoperability by enabling users to seamlessly bring their own tokens to the network through collateralized bridging. With a circulating supply of approximately 243 million, Partisia's native token $MPC empowers holders to actively participate in the network's ecosystem. $MPC is readily available on several major exchanges and you can learn all about it here.

Sceptre will soon join the Partisia ecosystem by introducing liquid staking to it. Like $FLR and $wFLR holders before them on the Flare network, $MPC holders will be able to stake their tokens on Sceptre and earn rewards while maintaining liquidity through the liquid staking token we’ll provide ($sMPC). $sMPC will be accepted across multiple protocols within the Partisia network, offering users greater flexibility and utility. It will maintain an exchange rate with the original $MPC token, similar to the $sFLR/$FLR mechanism we have in place on Flare.

Given the unique characteristics of Partisia and Flare, reward distribution mechanisms will differ between the two networks. We will provide further details on the specific reward structure for Partisia once Sceptre for Partisia launches.

While we finish setting things up, we invite you to visit Partisia’s website to learn more about it and get ready for this landmark event on Sceptre, and to follow us on X to be among the first to know when Sceptre's liquid staking services for Partisia go live.
